We are so fortunate to have invested in such a strong tradition of quality service. Continuing the tradition of Natural Plus Nursery was not always in our future plan, but when the time came to decide, we took the plunge, and have never looked back. The nursery allows us the flexibility, and the chance to live the lifestyle we love, spending time outdoors, growing our own food, and appreciating nature. We live and work on the same piece of land that was owned by Dave's grandparents. Thanks for joining us on our adventure!

our roots are deep / family history

Dave and Linda Hopper left their jobs in Des Moines Iowa in 1978, to return to North Iowa to follow their dreams of starting a nursery and landscaping business.  Natural Plus Nursery was born from that dream in 1979.  They raised their 2 children, while running the business from their home and backyard. For 35 years, they built a name and a reputation for quality landscaping service in Clear Lake and the surrounding communities. In 2013, Dave and Linda's son Dave, and his wife Mary, bought Natural Plus Nursery to continue the family tradition.
